Annapolis National Cemetery
In the course of their service to their country some servicemembers acheive honor for which their nation decorates them by presenting them with a medal to be worn in high circumstance and with a corresponding ribbon to be worn on their service dress.
Annapolis National Cemetery numbers among its interees several who have been decorated by a grateful nation; some decorations were won and worn with pride, while others were awarded posthumously, with only a greiving family to know of the high honors the nation paid to the servicemember who won the decoration.
Presented here is a list of those whose grave markers indicate the bestowing of military decorations.
